Level 1 Dance Classes

Level 1 Ballet/Tap (Ages 6 - 7)

This class is the perfect place to begin any young dancer's education. We focus on foundations of dance with emphasis on technique and class etiquette. Dancers are introduced to classical ballet and tap terminology and movement.

Level 1 Acro (Age 6 - 7)

*Due to the technical nature of Acro, and LDC's goal to create well-rounded dancers,

students in Acro Classes must also be registered for an additional technique class.

Level 1 Jazz (Age 6 - 7)

Ballet/Tap Dress Code 

• Young ladies should wear a light blue leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

• Young men should wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or athletic pants, black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Acro & Jazz Dress Code 

All dancers should wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that shows their body lines easily. Appropriate shoes should be worn: black jazz shoes for jazz class, bare feet for acro classes.
