Beginner 2 Dance Classes
Whether you’re looking to learn new dance moves or hone in on your existing talent, this class is what you are looking for. Dancers will build on the foundations that they learned in beginning 1 classes, while focusing on flexibility, proper muscle development, and coordination. The instructors are committed to giving each student attention while also moving the class forward to prepare for moving up to Intermediate classes. Young ladies should wear a plain black leotard, pink convertible tights and pink ballet shoes.
Young men should wear a white t-shirt, black shorts or pants, and black ballet shoes.
For all others:
Dancers should wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that shows their body lines easily. Appropriate shoes should be worn: tap shoes for tap class, tennis shoes for hip hop, jazz shoes for jazz class, bare feet for acro and lyrical classes.
9:00am - 10:00am) Beginner Acro (ages 7 - 9)
*Due to the technical nature of Acro, and LDC's goal to create well-rounded dancers, students in Beginner Acro must also be registered for Ballet or the Beginner Combo (ideally both)
10:15am - 11:15am) Beginner Ballet 2 (ages 7 - 9)
11:30am - 12:30pm) Beginner Combo 2 (ages 7 - 9)
June Session: Lyrical & Tap
July Session: Jazz & Tap
